When designing the Princess Margaret Showhome, every detail mattered — from the overall aesthetic down to the feeling each space evokes the moment you walk in. For me, creating a sense of comfort, warmth, and everyday luxury was just as important as the visual design itself.
That’s why I partnered with Sleep Country Canada for all of the bedrooms throughout the home.
A Foundation of Comfort
Every bed in the showhome was thoughtfully selected to not only look beautiful, but to feel incredible. From supportive mattresses to plush layers that invite you to slow down, each piece plays a role in creating a restful, elevated experience.
The goal was simple: when someone walks into these rooms, they should immediately feel at ease — like they could sink in, exhale, and stay a while.
Layering for a Luxury Feel
Bedding is where design and comfort truly come together. We layered high-quality sheets, cozy duvets, and perfectly styled pillows to create that “hotel-at-home” feeling in every bedroom.
Using Sleep Country Canada products allowed us to strike the perfect balance between softness, structure, and durability — without compromising on style.
The textures, tones, and finishes were carefully chosen to complement the overall palette of the home, while still standing out as inviting, touchable spaces.
The Power of Pillows
Never underestimate the impact of a great pillow. Beyond aesthetics, the right pillows transform how a space is experienced. We incorporated a mix of supportive sleep pillows and decorative accents to bring both function and visual interest into each room.
