Amy from Appliance Online is our guest blogger this week with a fun take on colour in the kitchen! Take it away Amy . . .
The kitchen. We all know it
and we all use it. In fact, over the
years it has become more than just a place to keep food; it’s a living,
breathing part of the home and the family. You have coffee with the girls at
the breakfast bar or you talk (or moan!) about your day at work come suppertime
with your loved ones.
Not only is the kitchen is the
heart of the home, it should also be an extension of you and your family.
Personalised. Colour can be a great way to do this. With that in mind, here are
some inspirational ideas for making color a vital part of your kitchen design.
If you want to take a more
subtle tact, the classic white is always a favorite as its elegance and
simplicity means it can be co-ordinated with little hints and splashes of
colour and steel.
If you like the ocean, then
bring it home by adding some Aqua-influenced touches to your kitchen. The right
shades of blues can really turn your kitchen from zero to hero!
Here are some unusual uses of
color and design that I think are amazing. I wish my kitchen was as bold as
these.
And to finish, here’s a
picture of a puppy. For no reason, I just think it’s cute!
